Drive app for when traffic clear on your route

Hi,

Is there an app that notifies you when traffic is clear on certain routes. For example, I sometimes get stuck in the city during rush hour and would like to be alerted when traffic jams to my home have subsided.

I use google maps and waze and wish they had this feature. Does any app have this feature?

I have to visit family now and am constantly checking traffic since it is taking 2.5 times normal drive time. It would be great timesaver if an app alerted you to normal drive times for that particular route.

If you use a garmin GPS,I think they have traffic info in their companion phone app.

Chiming in late. I can't live without both ETA and INRIX. ETA is both an app and widget that relies on and ties into one of several traffic apps, so you can get an ETA for designated locations. INRIX was great, then it sucked after an overhaul, and now it's great again - traffic (that's what they do), routing for one or multiple routes, navigation, and there's a traffic forecast "slider" so you can see what traffic could like like at 15-minute intervals, with granular alert control and stored locations. INRIX sells their service to DOTs and government, and they use several aggregated sources - and, unlike Google, you are NOT the product and source of income. Also, since VW/Audi/MBZ bought HERE!, that app gets better as time goes on - HERE! used to be NAVTEQ before Nokia bought them.

Unfortunately,INRIX don't work that well outside North America.
