Drive (HDD and/or SSD) usage history and stats app?

For an external drive. Any recommendations for MacOS 13.4? Most apps I've seen appear to be for PC.

Can you clarify your meaning of “usage history and stats”? Are you referring used vs free space? on disk? on volumes? or read/write speeds? Need more detail.

I'm wanting stats like: total hours powered on, total reads and writes and data sizes, bad sectors detected, etc, since first use. I'm buying a used 16TB Seagate HDD which is labeled "open box", but has still been used. The drive will be for backup, so these data are not critical, but still of interest.

Look for programs which can read and display SMART data, such as Drive DX.



The text with lines through the words is not my editing. For some reason Safari randomly does it.
