Drive Issues

My computer does not recognize some of my external drives, like the internal CD drive that plays DVDs and not CDs. Also it does not see my cell phone mini disk.

My Mac Mini is 4 years old. It is on all the time. I shut it down to be cleaned the other day and it would not turn on. After fumbling around with it, it started up. Not sure what the problem with this is ether.

Any ideas? I think my computer life is just about up. TG I have Time Capsule.

Drive Issues

Since no one relied and that I kept after the problem. Here is what I did.

I opened APPLICATIONS.
Then opened UTILITIES.
Then opened DISK UTILITY.APP

It saw the Pioneer drive as a CD and DVD drive. I verified it. Been working for 3 days.

use superduper or ccc to clone your mini's drive. tm is okay but tm and ccc clone or tm and superduper clone is better.
