Drop iPhone in snow

Drop my iPhone in the snow, wiped snow off, 2 min later no more sound, does it make any sense?

Water could of got into the phone and maybe affected the circuits. In which case yes it makes sense.

Actually, I am able to hear the different ring tones in settings but my keyboard sound and games sound don't seem to work no more....

It happened to my iPhone twice (once with the rain and another with snow). I just left my phone on top of the heater (not too hot just warm air) for a while. It didn't fix the problem right away but after couple of days later it went back to normal.

My friend recently dropped his iPhone in the snow and apparently he noticed it an hour later. He had to dug through the snow to find it and it had the same problem. He said his phone works completely fine.

The switch on the side is set right, unless there's somewhere else. My sound is on.

just to be safe. i'd make sure all the moisture is pulled out. also check your moisture sensors see if you have warrenty.

Where do I find the mositure sensors?

ones in the headphone jack. get a flashlight and shine down, if you see red, you're out of warrenty.

the other is by the connector on the bottom. if your phone is screen side up, its right underneath the connector.

The water probably triggered one of the water sensors, in which case, you will no longer be covered under Apples warranty. They will say you have water damage and they don't cover that. But like the other guy says, you should check the sensors and make sure. If they are red that's bad, if they are white that's good.
