With specifically selective sync working (and not the workaround where you have to open selective sync files in Finder and not via a 3rd party app)?
I dont use Selective sync, but I can open on-line only files from third party apps without having to download them in Finder. The Apple Fileproviderd extension is what enables this, replacing the deprecated in 12.3 Dropbox extension.....all the same as Onedrive who are some way ahead of Dropbox and communicating better.
