Well I did the unthinkable and dropped my iphone in the river while docking a boat.

after drying it out everything works but the touch screen, so basically it's useless other than seeing who calls and maybe a text msg here and there, but I can't do anything else.

If this were your phone, what would you do with it? I've already been to the apple store, obviously the won't replace it. Is it at all possible to get money out of this phone?

Apple will repair damaged iPhones - $250 for the 8GB, $300 for the 16GB.

Though if I were you I'd try and suffer for one more month, get the 3G version that is sure to come out, and just trash the old one.
