Last night I dropped my iPhone 3G and now my ear speaker (not the headphones but the one to listen through while in calls) no longer works. What are my options?

Im not scared to take my phone apart and try to fix it ,other than the fact that doing so will probably void any kind of warranty or anything like that. Please help me out!

Your warranty was basically voided once you dropped it because if there's evidence of dropping it then they'll attribute every other issue to that regardless.

Options as I see it
1. take it apart - doubtful its something you can repair yourself
2. send it into apple for repair/replacement - will cost you $$ since the warranty doesn't cover dropping it
3. Live with it
4. buy a 3GS and sell the 3G (with full disclosure) on ebay

Thanks for all the input. here is what I think I will do:

1. I will call Apple first and see what they say
2. Take it apart and try to fix it (I have done so with other phones and been able to fix the problems) if Im going to be stuck with a broken phone.
3. sell it on eBay and with full disclosure

IF it doesn't have a dent on it you can just take it to the Apple store and act like you have no idea what happened. I did that and they gave me a new (refurbished) one in about 10 min.

what speaker???

Sell it to deaf people! I'm one of them and don't need the $)(#*&$ speaker! problem solved heh.
