Good one. I throw my iPad onto my bed all the time. But I also never have anything on the bed like a remote as previously mentioned.

When I walk into my bedroom before going to sleep I routinely throw it across the room onto the bed without incident. One time hit the wife. Not on purpose. She's still my wife.
