So I woke up this morning and accidently knocked off my iphone onto the floor from my bed. It's only about a foot drop and my iphone is in a hard-case.
I pick it up and press the home button and nothing. I then try pressing the power button and home button together to reboot and nothing. My phone was working fine the night before I dropped it.
At this point, I'm getting nervous and don't understand how a foot drop could have screwed up the home button. I look at the phone and the home button looks perfectly fine and clicks perfectly fine. No sign of damage whatsoever. Could the iphone really be this frail?
So I start googling this online and I find a bunch of different forums with people posting the same situation. But then, the solution they suggest is well, a bit strange. I thought it was a joke.

So, figuring I have nothing to lose, I did the same exact thing and what do you, the home button works now. Call it a coincidence, but it definitely worked for me so.....
