I'm currently using apple thunderbolt displays, but after using 5k iMacs, I think I want to upgrade the 1440 screens since now all text looks blurry. I also don't like the giant bezels the thunderbolt displays have when I put them side by side.

Will be used for graphic design work and video. Which monitors are compatible and probably ~$300 each. Work department barely has any funds due to budget cuts, however if I don't get new equipment now, I won't ever get them in the near future.

Will these work?
Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch 4k UHD LED-Lit Monitor
LG 27UD58-B 27-Inch 4K UHD IPS Monitor with FreeSync

From my limited knowledge, the monitors will have to be thunderbolt 2 compatible. Is there anything else I need to be aware of when upgrading?

Thanks!

Thunderbolt is irrelevant. Pretty much any 4K monitors can work. Just pick the one that you want which within your budget.
