I have Mac Pro 2009s and 2008s and right now in the 2009 I have dual (x2) ATI radeon HD 5770s which are pretty solid , no issues but there isn't much CUDA and openGL/CL support (?) if I am not mistaken?

Which would you use for your personal main workstation machine? I run a lot of high end applications like DaVinci Resolve , After Effects, Cinema 4D, Premiere Pro etc.

Can anyone give me some insight on how you would utilize these cards?

Is it an idiotic idea to think about using a Quadro FX 5600 AND 1 ATI Radeon 5770 in one machine?

---

OR should I just use the Nvidia Quadro FX5600 for my personal 2009 mac pro workstation and then put the dual Radeon 5770s in the second best mac pro workstation I have ?

Thanks!

Don't bother with 5600

It is very old and supports very little of modern OpenCl and CUDA

5770 is better for most things, except maybe games and even that might be close.

dammit are you sure?

How come? To my limited knowledge it looks like it has pretty high CUDA and openGL rendering abilities, 1.5gb vram isn't bad, and yeah....

How could the ATI radeon 5770 be better ?? IT doesn't have any CUDA at all

What card would you suggest then?

Because I just bought that FX 5600 off ebay for $190 shipped...
