I wear hearing aids and have a ReSound Phone Clip+ connected to my MacBook Pro for Jabber calls for work. What I'd like to do is to have Jabber use my Phone Clip+ for incoming and outgoing calls but have iTunes audio and system sounds play through an external BT speaker.

Does anyone know how I would go about doing this or if it's possible?

Thanks. Here's another issue with it: We are now using Zendesk Talk for our support team. Calls come into the browser directly so I would need that audio output going to the Phone Clip+ but all others (system sounds and music) going to the bluetooth speaker.

I just did what you had suggested and it doesn't work. When I select the output for iTunes to go to the BT speaker, I get an error that the speaker is in use.

It must be single stream only.

Did you set the output device for the system (itunes, sounds etc) in system preferences? Set it there to the BT speaker and dont set it in itunes. (I dont know if iTunes has a settings pane for this, cant look it up right now but if it can set it to default audio output)

Just change the output settings in Jabber for the clip+

Which browser do you use?
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/audiopick/gfhcppdamigjkficnjnhmnljljhagaha?hl=en

this might help for chrome - you can try it out
