I know that BootCamp 5 will only allow windows 7 or 8 to be installed on an ntsf partition but I want to install win xp 64 on 200GB partition of the mini's HD...but Bootcamp 4 will do win xp 64 with no issues (except for possible changes past 3 yrs in required drivers for windows xp use).
Generally, KISS (keep it simple stupid): 1. under yosemite, partition drive 800/200; 2. save yosemite partition on external drive (proper format); 3. install mountain lion (complete including its bootcamp 4); install windows xp 64 on the new BootCamp drive; 5. Restore yosemite to 800 GB partition.
Of course the devil is in the details....What details prevent this path of being achieved? What modifications will be required to make it work?
