Sorry for the noobish question but before I get my first mac I wanted someone to confirm that 2 20 inch aluminum displays will work fine with the new base mini, anyone?

Thanks!

Yes it's fine- you'll need a mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter.

It will work but will put a heavy strain on the Intel integrated graphics which might cause lag.

Thanks guys.

One more question, by strain do you mean it could potentially be bad for it? I could deal with a little lag if it's okay on the card. And if so, would opting for the 799 model be the way to go?

I am running the mid level mini ($799 model) with two 27" thunderbolt displays and I am not experiencing any lag.

Yes! I think I should be good with a base Mini. Thanks for the help guys, this forum is very helpful.
