i have a 2010 5,1 (not upgraded 2009 4,1):
my dual cpu tray was damaged in & a replacement was sourced from ebay.
the model numbers match but the diag led for cpu b stays solid on the new tray.
i'll be replacing the backplane in case it was damaged as well when the tray was.

how can i tell if the backplane is a 2010 or 2012?
are the model numbers different at all?
does the serial number denote the difference?
i figure if i'm replacing the backplane i might as well get the newer model...
