Hello, i'm about to place an order for a pair of Dell P2715Qs for my Mac Pro 2013. It's hard for me to make up my mind because of mixed reviews of this monitor in the forum. Some experience problems or dissatisfactions and some are delighted with it. So, i'd like to ask, will this monitor work well with my Mac Pro and does it give near or same retina-like sharpness like a 15" rMBP? I plan to run them at 2560x1440 and plan to have dual setup. Thanks

I writing this on a P2715Q attached to a 4,1 with 7950. When I first got it, there were lots of technical problems that caused a lot of frustration -- failure to power on after sleep, etc. However, driver updates seem to have fixed the majority of the problems.

I've got 20/10 eyesight and can't see pixels or any kind of screen door. There's well-calibrated 10bit colour with the newer drivers and it always wakes from sleep. After tuning the brightness, I can work all day on it without getting eye fatigue. And I can still read this text when everything has shrunk down after pressing the Mission Control key.

In short, would I buy another one if it broke? Yes.

I have two of these on my cMP, also hooked them up to my nMP (D700's) without problems. I'd recommend new cables, the one that come packaged aren't that great. Other than that I love these monitors, very clear and bright.
