Is anyone running dual 24"'s on the latest mac mini? I'm considering picking one up and hooking up a couple 24" monitors to it, however I'm cautious because of my experience with my 2010 macbook pro. My macbook pro 15" was the top model at the time, has an SSD, and all the fixins, but I always get a huge performance loss the second I plug in a second display.

do you have the dedicated graphics card in your mini? Also, which version of mac mini do you own?

For dual displays, you definitely want the mini with the dedicated AMD graphics chip.

What analysis do you have to back that up? Nothing.

I run a 27" ACD via mini-DP and a 24" via HDMI on my 2011 Mac Mini Server and it runs flawlessly.

I have a new "maxed" Mac mini at work that I got two months ago running 2 24" led monitors and it handles it just fine. One is hooked up via hdmi and the other via thunderbolt. Zero problems, zero lag.
