Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum and to Macs. I recent acquired a mid-2010 mini with the intentions of doing some development along with every day things.
My mini came with a 5400 rpm 320 GB drive, and I already cloned and am booting off a 500gb 7200rpm via usb. I'm getting ready to order a Seagate ssd hybrid drive. I am essentially replacing all drives currently in the mini.
So I have a few questions.
-In this plan would it matter in which location (stock vs optical) I install the hdd or ssd hybrid? (will be booting off hybrid)
-For those who have done this is it best to buy a kit with the tray to mount the hdd or just buy the cable and install it?
Thanks alot for any help, I have been poking around but not finding many facts...
