Hello All,
It's been a while since I've posted here. I guess my mac has been running without a hitch! I'm hoping someone can help me out.
Here's the situation.
PM G5 dual 2.0
1.5 GB RAM
OSX 10.4.8
ATI 9600 128MB
22" Viewsonic VX2235wm (DVI 1)
Panasonic PT-AE300U Projector (DVI 2)
Here's the problem. I've got the native res of 1680x1050 on the Viewsonic working no problem. But the native res of the Panisonic Projector is 960x540 and it doesn't work right. http://www.projectorcentral.com/Panasonic_Home-PT-AE300U.htm
The only resolutions available for the "LCD Display" which is my panasonic projector are: 640x480, 800x600, & 1024x768. These are all letterbox or 4:3 aspect ratio resolutions. I've tried using the SwitchResX Control software without any success.
All I want is my Mac to push a widescreen res to both displays, one at 1680x1050 & one at 960x540 (or something close).
Does anyone have any ideas? Making all this hardware work is the best option, but I'd consider upgrading the video card if that's what it took.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
BZ
