I have an iPhone 13 pro max

Bought from apple so no physical SIM card in the phone.

First line is with Verizon

And I want to put my T-Mobile line in the phone as well.

8 agents, including 3 store agents and no one know how to do it.

Any suggestions?

Nope

According to T-Mobile you can’t do it.

I give up.

I believe the problem is that you can't mix carriers. You can have two plans (two numbers) with either T-Mobile or Verizon but apparently not with both.

I did when I was with att

I had Verizon line 1
And
Att line 2

This must be US thing. I’m using both eSim on different carrier simultaneously in Australia with no problem. I have few different eSims profile as well which I can just switch on or off when needed.

My friend. No one knows how to do it.

I don’t know how

I have the 13 pro max with Verizon in it right now and all I want to do is run my T-Mobile number in there as well.

send them a PM and a live person should chat with you. At the end you will get a link with your esim QR code, once you add a cell plan with your number...etc then you can dispose your TMO physical SIM

You have a TMO account with a physical SIM? if not you can get a new number from TMO and ask for an ESIM

I have the 1st esim on Verizon and I want the 2nd on T-Mobile but again no one knows how to do it

I am confused, do you ahve a TMO number already that you want it on an ESIM or you want to get a new ESIM number?

I have. They can’t do it. They keep asking for tHE EID number and it won’t work

They are saying that the Eid is already being used by Verizon. So aggravating

It sounds like they don't realize that the 13, unlike earlier iPhones, has two esims.

I would ask them to escalate. Eventually you should find someone at T-Mo who gets it.

Do you have an old iphone that you can put the tmobile SIM card in? If so, be sure you are signed in to iCloud on the old phone with the TMobile SIM and then see if you can add a new cellular plan on your new iphone. If the new iphone picks up the Tmobile cellular plan on your old phone, it should allow you to convert it to esim on the new phone.

This process seemed to work for the folks in the forum post below and it is also alluded to in the Tmobile support link below.

DISCLAIMER - I am not on Tmobile and don't have dual esim setup so I have no idea if this will work or not, but thought I'd share. This is perplexing that Tmobile doesn't know how to get this working.

With T-Mobile you have to "Change SIM" using whatever functionality you want. I did it using instructions found online at T-Mobile.

I have an eSIM for T-Mobile Magenta Max that is active alongside an eSIM for US Mobile (Verizon), both active at the same time.

It's not so bad. Use the EID to change SIM.

You can have up to 10 eSIM on an iPhone 13 series, but only two lines total can be active at one time.
