Hey Guys and Gals,

I just purchased a new Mac Mini with two Samsung 24in LED Monitors. I have managed to get the one hooked up via HDMI to DVI cord that i bought.

The second one is where I am having the trouble and I was wondering if you guys could help me, I have exhausted my options here.

For the second one I have purchased a Mini Display to DVI Converter. then Purchased a DVI-A to VGA Cord (Saved money)

When I plug the second monitor in to the mac the mac recognized the monitor and reads that monitor is plugged in, but, the monitor does not get a signal on the VGA and goes standby.

I am assuming that it is just because it is DVi-A to VGA and I will need to fess up and buy a regular DVI cord. But if someone could confirm that would be wonderful!

Thanks!

I use a hdmi to hdmi cable for the first monitor, and I bought a dvi to mini display cable from eBay for less than $9 for the second monitor.
