Dual Monitor Setups - iMac 27"

I am looking for some ideas with dual monitor setups for the iMac 27". I really dont like the idea of getting another 27" and them not lining up beside each other. More than likely, I will end up with a 24" LED display next to my iMac in portrait mode.

Just wanting to see some other setups to see what else people are doing for dual monitors on their iMac's.

Best is 2 27" iMacs :

I have a 24" iMac with a 19" in portrait (usually) beside.
You want the color to be close. Mine's a bit off even after calibration.
You also want the vertical resolution & physical to be close. You end up "banging" or catching windows on the edges.
