I have a read a few articles, I’m wondering who is running dual displays on the first gen M1 MBP? Any tips/tricks/recommendations?

The M1 MBP only supports a single external display. If you want more than one you need a DisplayLink dock. Do a search for DisplayLink to find tips and failures.

You can use displaylink adapter. It’s slow and buggy, only suitable for word processing or spreadsheets.
