Dual Processor 5,1 - which one is CPU A?

Subject says it all really.

Could someone confirm which of the CPUs on the Mac Pro 5,1 dual processor tray is referred to as CPU A.

From other posts, I think it is the one on the right (as you look at tray in Mac Pro 5,1 with side off) - i.e. the one that is nearer the back of the machine. But would be helpful if someone could confirm this.

That's correct, the rear CPU is the CPU A, it's at the downstream of the airflow and usually run warmer.
