Hi All,

I've got an idea that I want to take further. I can see it being an excellent tool for mac users who use audio applications or similar with very 'fiddly' controls and complex views.

If anyone can advise if this has already been done or provide guidance/assist in setting up a prototype app I would be very grateful.

The idea is based on a workstation with dual display. The first display is set to normal resolution as defined by the user. The secondary display mirrors the first, but is zoomed in to a certain amount following the pointer.

The idea is that the second display will behave much like a display does if you have ctrl+scroll zoomed in on the screen, providing a close up view of whatever is in focus.

The idea seems simple...look forward to your input :)

Cheers!

If you install the Developer Tools then you could just put Pixie on the second screen.

Thanks for the quick response! Developer tools is simply the XCode installer found on the MAc OS X installation disc, yes? Or is there a different installer I need to download?

Cheers

Yes. There will be a later version you could download bit if all you want is Pixie it's bot worth it !

Thanks! I've installed, its defintely on the right track. Would like it so it is a genuine mirror though as this set up has a few drawbacks. Great start! Any more suggestions would be awesome!
