Hi all,
I have a personal iPhone X and a work iPhone 13, ideally i would like to use just one phone for all my needs so i have a few questions.
I would change my personal sim to an e-sim and use the 13 as the main phone.
The X has my personal Apple account on it with various apps and information, my 13 has my work apple account with various apps and information on it.

Can i use the 13 with two apple accounts on it?
Will either number ring when called?
How do you select which number you dial out on?
Can i turn the work number off at the weekends?
Can facetime be used on both numbers?

Thanks for your help.

I personally recommend keeping work and personal stuff completely separate. Yes, it is a pain lugging around 2 phones. (When I was working I traveled with 2 laptops as well).

My work iPhone (and work laptop) was owned by my employer but allowed us to use them for personal use. The organization would update the apps periodically and apparently delete anything that was borderline acceptable (one of my coworkers had songs removed from his playlist). I may be paranoid, but I think it is inappropriate to have my company's IT to have access to my private texts, emails, browser history, phone call logs, or even personal photos.

I chose to keep my personal electronic life separate from my work life. I did a fair amount of work on the work laptop as well as the iphone, but I did not do any personal activity on the work technology items. When I retired, I just handed the phone and laptop back to the IT folks--I didn't have to back up or delete anything from them.

If something happened to the work phone, I would have to pay for a new replacement phone from the company. If something happens to my personal phone, I have the choice of which model phone to purchase, pay for either a new or used phone, AND be in control as far as the replacement arrival timeline goes.

Most employees typically no longer stick with one employer for their entire career--I think in some fields every 3-7 years many move to different companies. If one works for 25 or so years that would mean 3-8 business phone turn ins and merging personal stuff onto yet another work device.

Am sure there are a lot of forum members that are cringing at this old curmudgeon.
