The previous poster is correct, you can have more than one eSIM, but only one of them can be active at a time.
There seems to be two groups of eSIM proponents.
One group wants to use different providers traveling internationally, or wants different providers because one provider has a better data plan while the other provider has better coverage.
Speaking for myself, I'm fine with just USDM T-Mobile because I've done most of the international traveling I'll ever do, at this stage in my life.
I'd be perfectly happy having two T-Mobile eSIM, one public/business and one private, and I'd just switch to the private number when I want to be left alone!
Being able to use two eSIM keeps me from having two different physical phones, and keeps me from having to switch physical SIM so often.
