Trying to get my iMac Pro setup such that I have secondary monitors placed on the left and right sides of the iMac.

The Apple USB-C to Thunderbolt adapter doesn't support video, so I purchased a Sonnet USB-C to Dual DisplayPort adapter and attached my previous 24" screens.

Sadly, this made for really poor display quality.

So, looking for other suggestions on how to achieve this.

It seems that buying USB-C native monitors might be the best option, and any suggestions on models would be appreciated.

Btw, my machine has the 8gb video card, vs the 16.

You didn’t mention what resolution and connection your current monitors have.

I connected my prior 27” monitors with WQHD (2560 x 1440) via a USB-C to DisplayPort and USB-C to HDMI.

I use it mainly for graphic etc. and not for video. To me the quality is great.

Thanks, I think my problem was depending on the sonnet splitter. I pulled one of the display ports off of the splitter and changed the connection to HDMI. After that, both of my side monitors looked a lot better
