Hi,
I will upgrade my iMac 2011 and MacBook Pro 2012 to a Macbook Pro 15" with dual 4K Monitors (probably 2x Samsung U28E590D)

Can anyone suggest a good dual wielding Vesa mount to align the monitor exactly next to each other (no gap in the middle). I preferable have a stand which I can mount to the desk with screws than a simple stand).

The problem I faced looking for sth myself:

  • The monitors weigh 8,8 kg. Most stands only support 8 kp per arm
  • The monitors are 28 Inch. Most of the stands only support 27"

Maybe someone has a good suggestion

Herman Miller's Flo (two of them) or the Dual Flo (which is what I use, along with a few dozen in the company I own) plus the Flo Plus (which my iMP is mounted to. Product info here.

A few years ago I walked into my architectural products supplier, these were on all of their desks. Agree with the weight limitation issue, not an issue with the Flo, I mounted my 19.5lb/8.8kg iMac Pro and had no issues - the Flo is rated for 20 lbs max, the adjustable spring-controlled mechanism showed it was loaded to "8" on the sliding adjustment scale that goes to "10".

I opted for mounting my iMP on a Flo Plus, with a heavy LG display mounted on a Flo next to it. I use a sit-stand desk, and there was a bit more shimmy with the iMP on a Flo. The clamp mount is made up of several pieces - I use mine clamped to the desk's back edge, but there are a few in my office that are screwed in as the mount has three holes that a screw/bolt can pass through.

I gagged a bit at the retail prices but found that suppliers/vendors always sell them at far less than retail. IMO the Flo Plus is brilliant for the iMP, the silver arm goes with the legs on my desk; BTW the finish is powder-coating, not paint.

Chiming in again, regarding the above post by @kacl780tr - colebrook bosson saunders designed the Flo series for Herman Miller. Just a caution - I review cut sheets for clients every day - only the Flo Plus/Plus Dual and Wishbone Plus/Dual Bar (both designed by cbs) are rated for devices above 9.8kg - pretty much their remaining products you'd be exceeding or at the limit.
