I have a Bell Homehub 3000 modem (Sagemcom F@st 5566) with a 1.5 Gbps optical fibre internet link. The modem connects by ethernet to an ASUS router I use as an access point. I've realised though that the ethernet port on the modem is only 1 Gbps, so in theory I'm paying for bandwidth I can't use. I was trying to find out if I can connect a Dual WAN router to two ethernet ports on the modem and set them to load balance. Anyone know if that would work? Surprisingly I've had trouble finding this out...
