Currently owning a 12 Mini and loving the size but could definitely use more screen and battery sometimes. The thought hit me the other day that I might keep the Mini and buy the 13 Pro Max. Then just pick up the correct phone for the day depending on what I'm up to. Dual-Sim/eSim+physical sim should make it possible to keep the same number.

How stupid is my idea ? Anyone doing a similar thing? 🤓

I have a 12 Pro Max, 2 12 minis and a Samsung s21 Ultra. I generally keep the sims (I have two lines) in the 2 minis and use the big phones on WiFi at home. I’ve tried having my Sims in the larger phones but I find trying to take phones that big anywhere on a regular basis is not easy for me. I’m a petite woman and some of my clutch cases are too small for the huge phones. I used to keep my iPhone 7/8 pluses in the back pocket of my jeans but now the Max sized phones are too thick and heavy for that to be very comfortable.

I still enjoy a large display for watching videos/movies when traveling and for e book reading. For daily use I can’t imagine going without a mini anymore. I’m gutted Apple won’t make more past this year.

I've been using two active iPhones for years. A big one and a small one. Each one is best for a particular circumstance.
