My colors were great on my computer until I downloaded the duet display app because I wanted to use my iPad as a second screen, but long behold now my colors are messed up on my screen and a lot of words that are supposed to be black come out as a really light gray like in my stock Apple mail app and my dock is now a bright silver color. I did uninstall duet display and tried to reset my color sync settings back to default, but that didn't work even by using the Onyx utility. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Try contacting duet support? All I can tell you is that I use duet with my Mac Mini dual monitor setup with my iPad Air 2 as a third monitor once in a while and have never experienced that issue.
yeah I contacted their support and they said they have no fix for that currently and I had to wait for their support team to get back to me for which there was no ETA
