Just got my powermac g5 today and wanted to install a second drive that I bought. For the life of me I can't find the serial ata connector, so, I go online to look for instructions but no luck - only DIY instructions to replace the original drive. The I read a post somewhere that mentioned the manual that comes with the g5. Bingo, there it is, plain as day. Guide screw are already in the machine, just have to take them off and put them on your drive. And that elusive sata cable is actually tucked away above the currently installed drive. Geez, I feel dumb now for not reading instructions first :)

Its nice how Apple makes things so simple and easy to use/do. :)

Manuals & instructions are nice, but who really wants to take the time to read them- not me. ;) :)

Yes, being told to read a manual is unwelcome, but good advice. :) I am sure that you have thanked your wife for forcing you to read manuals when a problem actually did arise. :)
