Dumb iPhone Question...

Is it possible to buy an iPhone on a contract in the UK at an Apple retail store or only PAYG? if so, do they offer all contracts offered by the carriers?

I don't believe it's available in PAYG, and most of the carriers I have seen allow you to use whatever plan you want as long as it includes a data plan.

So I should be able to trot on down to the Apple store and queue Thursday and sign up with Vodafone as a new customer?
