Really sorry but how the heck do I open a pages or numbers file on my desktop that I have been working on in my iPad? It shows the files are in the cloud when viewing on my desktop or Air, I'm upgraded to 10.7.2 and IOS 5 on all devices, I updated Pages & Numbers today on my iPad, there has not been an update for pages or numbers in the mac app store tho, there was one for iPhoto that I did. I'm pulling my hair out on this.

Anyone know?

Thanks!

As far as I can tell, you have to go to iCloud.com and click on the icon for iWork there. From there, all of the documents that you have on your iDevices should be there available for download. I would post a link to where I read that, but I honestly don't remember.

Thanks for that! I'm looking into it right now, it's beyond me why iCloud isn't more like a dropbox where you can just click on the spreadsheet on your iPad, laptop or desktop and have it automatically open.

Ok, I got to the bottom of it, there is no way to sync numbers or pages files, you have to go into iCloud.com from your desktop or laptop to upload the file after you save it, major PITA, all the hype about iCloud and it can't automatically keep my pages/numbers files in sync for my desktop/laptop/iPad.

Hopefully REALLY soon Apple will add a iCloud folder in the finder in the left side bar where you can open it and click on any file to open it from the cloud.
