A few days ago I spilled a cup of juice all over the surface of my Macbook pro, it was 6:00 am and I was headed to crew practice, and in my tired stupor I wasn't as careful as usual. I really thought that was it for my laptop but thanks to Apples genious keyboard design, absolutely nothing happened! I immediately tipped the macbook pro over and let the juice drip off. Then I took off the keyboard, to reveal what i thought would be a soaked motherboard... but nothing of the sort: the rubber layer below the keyboard kept all the juice at bay. I couldn't find any evidence at all that any liquid reached into the inside of my laptop. I just thought I should share this on the forum, for all the design problems the Generation A Macbook Pro has had, it sure stands up to a beating.
