Hi everyone,
Dungeon Siege keeps freezing on me at fairly random points. I'm runnig it on a MDD 1.25 Dual G4 with 768MB ram and the stock 64 MB video card. It tendst o do it when my characters just begin to attack an enemy (although not everytime).
There is no reason this machine shouldn't handle everything this game can THINK about throwing at it...do you think there's a ram problem or something?

Thanks in advance for your input,

Seth

Please provide a few more details: RAM manufacturer, OS version, graphics card type and driver version, etc.

sorry

Sorry..
Ram 256 apple stock
512 Kensington
OS 10.2.8, most recent update
Graphics is the ATI 9000 pro I believe (new comp, at work and can't look at it)
Not sure of the drivers on the card, but all my other software, including dungeon siege, has been updated.

Thanks

when you say Freezing, you do not mean crashing right ? you mean slow down, or jam for a second ? i have the same computer (mdd 1.25, 1.25 gig RAM, 10.3) and it's the same thing here. I wonder if it's the CPU or the graphic card that cause de glitch. You can check the frames/second on the screen when playing. If anyone has this game, with a mdd 1.25 or equivalent, and a better video card, please, let met know ! if it's the video card that is not powerfull enough, i'll look to buy another sooner than i tought.

thanks
