Hello,

I have my primary email (gmail) forwarding all incoming mail to my aol imap account, and my iphone uses the aol imap account for its inbox.

sometimes, only on occasion, i seem to recieve duplicate mail messages in my inbox... can't figure out why... any ideas?

thanks,
r.

Yeah I get dups from my mail server too. Yet another good reason for a delete all option....

Gmail will reforward you an unread message if you don't set it to do something with the message, like archive it. Go back to your forwarding preferences and set Gmail to do something with the message after you have recieved it.

I chose delete because I don't want Gmail to be able to search my messages but you can choose archive if you want to keep a copy in your Gmail box.
