Duplicate Entries on Calendar

On some recurring calendar entries I have duplicate sometimes triplicate entries. I am syncing to icloud, google only.

I can understand 2 entries, I dont understand 3 entries. Plus the color coding on the entries gives no clues where they come form--icloud , google, device?

Any suggestions other than trial and error?
