iPod Duplicate files in finder?

When I go to my itunes library in finder, some albums have two of each song.

One of each has artwork attatched, while the other doesnt.

I cant remember if these are the albums that ive manually added the artwork to..... maybe thats whats caused the duplicate?

Anyhow, can I delete on of them without my itunes library?

Just that, obviously, some albums are taking up twice as much space as they should be.

Anybody else find this?

Yes. I've had many songs with 1 or more extra copies sitting in the same folder.

I just noticed this the other day while importing some cds. One or Two of the Cds was already in my iTunes as mp3 but I wanted lossless so when I imported the cd Itunes asked if I wanted to replace the existing which I did. Sure enough in finder there is 2 copys of each song... I have no clue what the deal is...
