I have my MacBook Air set up to receive my iMessages and text messages. It's quite convenient... but only when I'm actually using it.

Whenever I haven't used it for a few days, I'll open it up and be greeted with... DING! DING! DING! DING! Tons of notification popups from the past few days. Messages, reminders, calendar alerts... You name it. It's rather annoying.

The same thing happens on my Mac Mini as well.

How can I fix this? I don't have any issues with notifications between my iPhone and Apple Watch. I don't want to be bothered by notifications I've already seen.

Thanks for any help!
