Hi there,

so I have the new MBA M1 and I'm very happy. Battery life is not quite what I expected but of course much better than the 2019 13" MBP I had before.

One thing I frequently ran into the past couple of weeks is, that Safari will all of a sudden have duplicated all my open windows. I usually have 3 windows open that contain multiple tabs (6 + 6 + 60(?)). All of these windows are private windows.

Does anyone else experience this?

Having the same issue on a new Macbook 16" with the M1 Max, not necessarily in Private Mode though.

I am finding that duplicate Safari windows are appearing, with the same tabs as an existing window, but those tabs indicate they have not been visited. You can tell they haven't been visited because the tabs themselves just have a gray and white letter in them for the website name - no favicon.

Sometimes, multiple copies of a window are there. Interestingly, CMD-Tilde keyboard shortcut does not cycle between these windows, I have to manually select them in Expose.

Everything is up to date (brand-new laptop), and I haven't even restarted the machine yet.
