Hey guys,

I have just synced an album (ripped from CD) and it appears twice on iPhone iPod and I can't figure out why as when I look at it in iTunes it is one album but shows as 2 on the iPhone like I said.

Anyone know why it might be doing this?

Delete it on the iphone and itunes. Sync it. Re-add them and then sync. If that doesn't work.

Check the info on the certain tracks that are in the duplicate album and make sure all the info match. The artist name, publisher, and album name.

Hhmmm tried that, it did not work.

It just seems like this could be a iTunes 9 issue or OS 3.1 issue as I have updated them both today and started getting all of these issues :(

Thanks for the help though :)

I don't think it has anything to do with the update. I've had this issue before, and I fixed it somehow. Mostly it was because the info on some of the tracks were a little different. Like at the end of the album name there would be a blank space.

That could be it, I have noticed that one album has the artist as Mika then the other has it as MIKA so I am completely confused as I have changed the info a bunch of times, I guess I could re-do it and see what happens :)
