How durable are these MBA ?, I am very Interested in the the 11''
would it be reasonable to expect these to last 3 or 4 years, I am
easy on my stuff, mostly will be used around the house and this will
be my primary computer, mostly browsing and I watch a lot of Netflix,

I had a revA and a revC MBA that I traveled with almost every week for over a year each and they were like new when I sold them.

No telling till the new ones have been out for a while but I expect they will hold up similar to most apple products and you can easily get a 3 year apple care warranty on them.

I had a 4 year old MBP and have two little kids and yeah got a knick to two on them but nothing major! Was able to just sell them to sell them to get both the 11 and13" unltimates. My thought is that since these are nighter machines if they fall to the ground theyll take much less of a hit due to their light weight...;)

I wonder how strong the display is on the 11" MBA.

Its so thin, even if it were solid glass, I wouldn't think it could be very strong. Yet there's an entire display, backlight, glass cover and aluminum back all in an incredibly thin yet rigid display.

How did they do it? Can't imagine that its very strong.
