Hi all iMac-ers!
I have a new 27'' iMac. I received it a few weeks ago, and since the moment I took it out of the box I noticed a piece of dust behind the glass, however it does not really really bother me, although it a bit of a concern since I expected more from Apple. In addition, the bottom of the screen is noticeably more yellow than the top of the screen. I was wondering if this is enough for Apple to replace my unit if I do choose to bring it up to them?

*also note, this computer is a replacement for a very faulty iMac (replaced iMac had dark band going through middle of screen and numerous dots on the screen depending on the colors that were on the screen).

Yes take it back to them if it bugs you

You paid top dollar for it so the quality better be there

The yellowing issue is very prevalent on these forums (many have taken theirs back and gotten replacements) so you are not alone

I personally would take it back with no hesitation

It's always possible for the screen to get dust behind it on manufacture, but that's no reason not to take it back.
The yellow screen issue is a very prevalent one, Apple seems to be starting to recognise it as a widespread issue though - see this link.

There is also a significant correlation of 27" issue data HERE and I encourage you to submit your problems with it too, so that it'll be more receipted by Apple.
