Lately I'm having a devil of a time backing up movies. I use to do it on my old PC (now gone), now I'm just using one of the new macbooks.
Previously I used DVDFab, and it did a great job (usually) with a very low error rate on rips in so far as compression errors etc.
Since I've used Mac the Ripper, since its the only piece of software I've found to rip to Video_TS folders. Since I've used the macbook I've had only 3 successful burns out of 12. All the rest had some sort of decoding or compression errors in the file.
Can anyone give me any suggestions how to minimize this on the mac? Is it something on my end? A better piece of software I can use? I tend to watch each of my rips to verify they are good, and quite honestly I'm getting tired of watching bad rip after bad rip (especially of the same movie)
Thanks for your time and input.
