What kind of DVDs do you need to burn?
Video/movies
just data? Data is simple, as you just insert the DVD, drag files to the DVD, then eject the DVD. The Finder will ask if you want to burn the disk with those files.
Or, some other use?
Your question about uninstallers for the Mac has been answered on multiple threads on this site. The usual answer is that you would usually remove an app that you don't want simply by dragging that app to the trash. The system might ask for your admin password for permission to do that. Then empty the trash. Any settings files for that app will normally not take much space, and you can ignore leftovers. If you are a bit obsessive about removing ALL files related to a deleted app, there are uninstallers for macOS. Most need a database of some kind to remove everything (and the database may not stay up-to-date for the next time you need to uninstall some app, and ultimately don't have much value -- unless you enjoy the time that you might spend, reinstalling the system when the "uninstaller" found (and deleted) more than necessary.
There are some third-party apps thatDO come with their own uninstaller, should it be necessary.
Any particular apps that you might want to mention that you need to remove?
