dvd burner help

i just put in a dvd burner in my mac g4. whenever i put in a blank dvd it tells me to insert a blank disc. im trying to burn a bunch of mp3s and i cant understand why it tells me this... im using toast titanium to burn my dvd.

Depending on the burner, most macs use DVD-R media.

I assume that every time you put in a DVD Toast is expecting a CD and reports that you still need a blank CD.

I believe the Toast will only burn a "mp3 disc" to CD -- not DVD. The way to burn to DVD would be to put the mp3s into a folder and burn the DVD as a data disc.
