Is there a service that will encode (rip) all my DVDs for viewing on my APV? I was thinking I could send them all my DVDs and they could load them up on an HD. Does anyone know of a reasonable service?

I really doubt it, its illegal to rip dvd's, in some juriditions. The law is completely stringent towards dvd's because of the studios, than for example the cd - well it took nearly 20-25 years to be allowed to legally rip cd's

wait maybe 20 years and I have an answer for you :D

Maybe you could find a poor college student to do it for you? And give me his / her name after they're done with your collection. :)

Is there some reason you can't do it yourself? Or is it that you can afford to have someone else do it for you?

Just curious, because I can afford to hire people, but enjoy the "hobby" aspect of it. At least, for now. :)
