Is there a service that will encode (rip) all my DVDs for viewing on my APV? I was thinking I could send them all my DVDs and they could load them up on an HD. Does anyone know of a reasonable service?

I really doubt it, its illegal to rip dvd's, in some juriditions. The law is completely stringent towards dvd's because of the studios, than for example the cd - well it took nearly 20-25 years to be allowed to legally rip cd's

Maybe you could find a poor college student to do it for you? And give me his / her name after they're done with your collection.
Is there some reason you can't do it yourself? Or is it that you can afford to have someone else do it for you?
Just curious, because I can afford to hire people, but enjoy the "hobby" aspect of it. At least, for now.
