DVD gets ejected

Hey.
My mom just bought a new DVD.
I put it in the iMac G5 and it gets ejected about 30 seconds afterwards.
Can somebody help me?

Did she accidentally buy a Blu-Ray movie instead of a dvd?

If not try it in another computer/dvd player.

Buy a DVD that is longer than 30 seconds

Test other DVDs in the Mac, and try that DVD in other media players. You need to troubleshoot a little bit.
